Hello, and welcome to the week 13 announcements video for CC 410 in spring 2026. So, this week you’re going to be continuing to add more features to the website version of your project. This week, we’re going to deal with RESTful APIs and forms. You’ll do a quick example of accepting some data from a form in your website, and then you’ll add that to your restaurant milestone as well. Don’t forget that this point is where you should really start working on the final project. These restaurant milestones are a lot smaller to give you more time to work on the final project. So make sure you do that. In next week’s announcement, I’ll spend a lot of time talking about the actual deliverables for the final project, but you can find that webpage and everything on the textbook right now. Just check the module for the final project, but I’ll spend some time in the announcements next week talking about that.
So like I talked about this week, we’re going to add web forms. In this case, the web form we’re going to do is with search and results. And so we’ll be able to search our menu and present some results from that web search. It’s a really neat little feature, and it’s a great way to learn some basic web forms in our project. And then, of course, like I said, upcoming, we’ll talk about RESTful APIs and RESTful controllers so we can actually edit things in our website. And hopefully you’re spending a lot more time working on the final project as well. So the end of the semester is in sight. We’re on week 13 out of 16.
